To celebrate the on-day cricket world cup final, the Rwandan Cricket Association put on a cricket world cup of the own. We had Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, India 1, India 2, Pakistan, South African and England in the running. Also in the mix in each entrant was a player from the Rwanda women’s team; they were excellent.

The day went well apart from the weather. Pakistan beat India 2 to much over stated from the Pakistanis. The final went down to the final ball with the Pakistani’s unable to hit the required 4 leaving the English team victorious in the inaugural Rwanda cricket world cup.
